Classroom Crashes were created to design vocational training labs in area high schools. Each high school designates a classroom or space for Miller's Crew to come in and "crash." A typical classroom is customized to provide vocational opportunities consisting of 4-5 training stations. Miller's Crew collaborates with each school to assure that the space meets the needs of every Exceptional Child in the building. All labs are functional, practical, applicable and profitable for the respective school's EC department. This program allows for the EC students to benefit in so many ways. The Classroom Crash program allows students to obtain school based hours as well as sharpen their skills for community based instruction. The ultimate goal is for students to practice vocational skills in a non-stressful setting paired with specific instruction from their skilled educators. Miller's Crew believes practicing vocational skills continuously in an environment that emulates a real work setting will prepare students for the next level after high school.
